CoreIQ imaging drill core at the point of cut

Core data at the point of cut.

From core to decision

CoreIQ captures and measures every metre of drill core the moment it is cut, turning it into structured, JORC-ready data in minutes. Retrofits to any core saw.

The problem

The core shed is the bottleneck.

Core comes off the rig faster than it can be logged, so decisions wait weeks behind a growing queue of trays. Logs vary between geologists, shifts and campaigns, which makes the dataset hard to defend and harder to model. Experienced geologists spend their days in the core shed on repetitive measurement instead of interpretation.

How it works

Scan. Log. Cut.

Your saw. Your crew. Your workflow. CoreIQ sees every metre while the core is still whole, and hands your geologists data instead of a backlog.

1

Scan

See the whole core. Keep it forever.

Core rolls onto the saw like any other day. Before the blade touches it, CoreIQ captures every metre end to end: a permanent record of the full core before half of it leaves for the lab.

2

Log

Start from data, not a blank sheet.

Every metre comes back as sharp imagery and structured data: fractures, veins, sulphides, lithology, alteration and RQD by depth. Your geologists review, refine and sign off, with the measuring already done.

3

Cut

Nothing changes on the floor.

The operator cuts to the line at normal throughput. Nothing waits on the data. The crew's day looks exactly like yesterday. The data doesn't.

From core to decision, without the wait.

The output

Every tray annotated, measured and confidence scored.

Fractures, veins, sulphides, lithology and alteration detected per interval, with RQD and fracture frequency, delivered as structured data alongside the reference imagery.

Pilot program

Australia-wide pilots commencing November 2026.

Throughput without extra headcount

Design target: four times the metres logged per day on the same core shed team.

JORC-ready outputs per hole

Every hole produces a structured, JORC-ready log in minutes.

Real-time geotech flagging

Fracture and geotechnical data flagged in minutes, not days.

No capex retrofit

Bolts onto your existing core saw. Per metre rate or SaaS licence, no new capital equipment.

Performance figures are design targets, subject to pilot validation.

Global retrofit

Any saw, anywhere.

CoreIQ retrofits to approximately 3,000 core saws already operating worldwide, in a single shift. Western Australia first, with national and international rollout via OEM partners.

  • Any saw, single-shift install
  • Approximately 3,000 saws retrofit-ready globally
  • Sovereign data, on-premise or Australian cloud

FAQ

Common questions

Does it work with my existing saw?

Yes. CoreIQ retrofits to any core saw, typically installed in a single shift.

What data formats are output?

JORC-ready interval data with lithology, fractures, veining and RQD, plus reference imagery, via CSV and open API.

Where is my data stored?

Data is sovereign, anonymised per client, and stored on-premise or in Australian cloud.

How fast is deployment?

A single shift. Your crew keeps cutting the same way they do today.
